13,000 Volunteers Added to Chennai's Flood Response

Ahead of heavy rain warnings, approximately 13,000 volunteers were placed on standby to assist the Greater Chennai Corporation. The volunteer network operated alongside the Integrated Command and Control Centre, submitting ground-level neighbourhood reports on water stagnation, relief needs, and evacuation.
