₹30 Crore Virugambakkam Canal Flood-Mitigation Project

The Greater Chennai Corporation launched a ₹30 crore flood-mitigation project for Virugambakkam Canal, removing approximately 1,07,200 cubic metres of silt across a 6.36 km stretch, constructing 1,490 metres of retaining walls, and installing protective fencing.
