Tragic Suicide of Pallavaram Student Sai Abhinav: Udhayanidhi Reiterates Urgent Demand to Scrap NEET

The heartbreaking suicide of Sai Abhinav, an aspiring medical student from Pallavaram driven to despair by the intense stress and uncertainty surrounding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), has renewed widespread anger against the centralized examination system. Extending deep condolences to the bereaved family, Udhayanidhi Stalin stated that centralized elimination exams continue to claim precious young lives, disproportionately crushing students from state board and modest socio-economic backgrounds. He reaffirmed that Tamil Nadu's collective political resolve to abolish NEET and restore state-level medical admissions based on Class 12 merit remains resolute.
